11-27-06Just a few things for right now...
Please remember to make your account name your character's first and last name. In addition, if you choose to create a profile, do not reply to the guide thread, but create a new one in the same board, and it will be moved to the appropriate subboard.
Godmoding and stretching the rules / plot of the board are being strictly watched by the staff and will not be tolerated. If the offense is too large, your post will be edited and you will probably be messaged by administration to ensure that you know what you're doing.
If you have any questions at all, do not hesistate to message the administration [this account]. This also applies for input and suggestions, as we are constantly growing.

It's been a while...
Winter break threw me down into a pit of laziness, and unfortunately for anyone who still frequents this board, that winter break still had me in its grip until today (winter break ended on Tuesday the 16th for us). Now... I'm back. Planning to be a bit more hands on as well. Here's a bit of what you can look for:
+ Classes were launched a month ago today, and will end on Monday, January 29th. One week to rest, and then the next classes will be launched on Monday, February 5th. Teachers, if you need any help with curriculum, don't hesistate to private message the staff or send an email titled "Ethereal" to imperfectaltruist@yahoo.com. Hopefully this time more people will be able to jump in and participate in the lessons.
+ An email will be sent out to every member of the board, reminding about activity. A few people have not signed in since a few weeks ago. Until today I was a guilty party. A grace period of three weeks will be given, after which the offending accounts will be deleted. No hard feelings, I understand when life takes over; I simply don't want inactive accounts and posts cluttering the board.
+ Any threads that have not been updated in two weeks will be moved to the Closed Threads board at the bottom of the forum. This is simply my way of clearing out cobwebs.
+ I'm going to be modifying the rules to be both more concise and understandable, and doing some stuff with the character profiles and applications. There are details in some of the profiles that need to be altered slightly, but don't affect the actual roleplaying much; eventually I'll get to those.
Anything else I'll update about later. Sorry for the absence; now that I have my fifth period journalism class back, I'll have plenty of time to keep on top of things. Happy roleplaying!
