Welcome to the brand new Ethereal Academy for the Magically Gifted!

The board is just starting up, but the sooner you jump in and get your profile started, the sooner the roleplay will be active and interesting.

Please read the helpful pages in the left column, the information will make your understanding of the Ethereal world much better. To the right are some links that will help you when first creating a character.

We are currently accepting application for professor positions in the academy and shopkeepers / officials in the village. Additionally, the village is still being developed; graduate students will be welcomed with open arms, and the development of the village area of the board will be up to any of them.

 Rules & Regs

Okay, apparently the need has risen for me to be a little bit stricter on this board. I am going to be enforcing rules. Yes, it sucks, but they're necessary to keep the board running smoothly. Here they are: your commandments.

ONE: NO GODMODING. If you don't understand what this is, it's taking more power than you have either as a character or a storyteller. You can't say what another character is doing, for example (no "Stacy was running for the hills" when Stacy would prefer to be sitting on a couch), and you can't destroy a setting entirely. Basically, keep your power in check. I'll be watching this one.

TWO: YOU MUST MESSAGE IN AN APPLICATION BEFORE ROLEPLAYING. Profiles are completely voluntary [though highly recommended], but applications are mandatory before you jump into the board. We must ensure that you know the basic format of roleplaying and that you spent some time on developing a character and learning the setting of this world. If you begin roleplaying before sending in an application, you will be notified, and subject to account suspension until you complete one.
